Someone should really do something regarding what’s happening in this Country. I live in Argentina and the corruption levels are getting to a place that we have never seen. It has always been a “corrupt” broken country but know we are experiencing the loss of one of the three biger powers: The Judiciary Party. Argentina’s president, Cristina Kirchner has done things worse than the last dictatorship. She has controlled the mayority of the Congress with her minions that have put out a law that states that the Judiciary Party is no loger independent. This means, that the people will be the ones “choosing” which judges they want…. This REALLY means, that when voting for congressmen or president, the people will also be voting judges that come from political parties. Freedom of speach is being compromised since we will no longer have anyone to protect us, since our judges will be those designated by the president, who hates the people she rules. What’s even worse is that she wants the Judiciary Party to be in her side so that she can impose measures similar to those used under the Nazi reich.
People here have manifested against her and this measures, and they’ve tried to deviate the complaint but the truth is that this country is facing total dictatorship, sooner rather than later.
Our country has been sold, and there’s nothing here left for us, but we still want to fight, we need to fight for our rights so that our voices don’t dissapear.
The sad part about this whole thing is that nobody seems to have even heard about this save for Argentinians ourselves.
We need HELP, you guys. We are in DESPERATE need of someone -anyone- who can help us. Our freedom is now lost to a corrupt and power-obsessed government whose ONLY goal is to fill their own pockets with our money while driving the country into the ground and seizing control of literally everything they can get their hands on.
This morning was our final goodbye to our freedom. There is no more justice save the one imposed by the government. The separation of power into three distinct entities has ceased to exist and we are now lost in the hands of a single person who does not give a fuck about her people.
Democracy has turned into an ideal, a concept under which we are ruled but which, in reality, does not exist. This is now Totalitarianism. A Dictatorship flying the colors of Democracy. Because surely we must have elected her, and surely we all want to have our freedoms stripped from us, and surely voting to keep this from happening was not rigged and riddled with fraud. SURELY.
It was all a ploy from the government so that they would gain more power and control over the people. And the whole world is too blind to see.
